Some of the things we will need to know when discussing the possibility of a future nursery auction:

Container size, quality, varieties, apprx. counts, current status of inspection.

In-ground: Apprx. counts, caliper/size, current conditions, variety, type of digging soil and average length of your digging season. Method of planting..(row run, mixed rows, etc.)

Machinery: Models, hours and or miles, creditor list (if necessary).

Other: Hoop houses, green houses, irrigation systems and remaining baskets, supplies and "small goods "

(If you would like to fax us this info our number is 1-724-646-1766)

NOTE: Any amount of equipment will help with the success of your auction. Especially large equipment (tractors, trucks, tree spades etc.). Machinery draws a larger crowd, from a wider area which will create more competition in your market the day of the auction. Good equipment is always in demand and consistently brings a strong price!

Common Questions:

How soon could we attempt an Auction?
the time from the point of contract to day of sale in a nursery auction can be as little as 2 1/2 weeks and still be very effective. The perfect length of time would be around 3-3 1/2 weeks. We try to schedule Horticultural related auction around the spring and fall season depending on the area and market.

How far does Reimold Horticultural Auctioneers Travel for Auctions?
Although we have offices in Pennsylvania and Florida, Reimold Hort. is licensed in 14 states to handle all of your auction needs. We have traveled all over the U.S. and parts of Canada conducting Nursery and real estate auctions and, with our completely mobilized auction system, are prepared to go anywhere on the globe.

Can Reimolds take care of selling our Real Estate also?
Yes....We have conducted many Nursery related Real Estate auctions in different parts of the country. This is very effective in conjunction with the nursery stock and equipment. If necessary, we can work with your present realtor.

How will you get the buyers to the auction?
We are constantly looking for new ways to generate a good selling market for your auctions. We are very proud to say that we are on the cutting edge of the new Technology out there such as the Internet, Broadcast faxing, and CD ROMs, which are used actively in our business. We currently have one of the most active websites in the horticultural industry. We also maintain a reqested only e-mail list of over 1200 nursery buyers and sellers.

The most effective form of marketing we use is our unequalled mailing list. This list has been compiled over the past 50 years of our Nursery auction experience. We are constantly adding to and updating our active nurserymen buyers list. Also, to top it all off, We have the ability to generate a "Geo Point" (Geographically limited) mailing lists from your place of business to insure that we contact everyone of interest in parallel businesses within your area.

NOTE: Nursery auctions can be scheduled at last minute, but there are many benefits of early agreement, such as great deal more exposer for your advertising dollar. You will get the bonus of what we call the "piggyback" effect. As soon as an auction is listed it goes on our up-coming sales list and is attached to all outgoing sale bills. this could lead to as much as 10,000 additional mail outs at no extra cost.

We look forward to hearing from you and discussing your future auction.
